MAITLAND, FL – Censeo Corporation announces today the launch of a formalized, in-depth training program for test authors. The interactive course, titled “Increasing the Quality of Your Knowledge Assessments,” is available via web conference or may be conducted at a client site.

Facilitated by a Censeo Industrial-Organizational Psychologist with years of experience in test design and construction, this program is designed to expose test authors to a variety of important best practices and tools.

Topics covered include the benefits of well-constructed tests and the consequences of poorly constructed tests; the test development process; defining test objectives and creating a test blueprint; question types, their uses, and criteria for writing high-quality questions; tips for test review and piloting; test item analysis; and test design and authoring FAQs.

At the conclusion of the session, participants will be able to clearly understand the importance of creating high-quality tests, follow a psychometrically sound process for constructing tests, create and use test blueprints, and recognize and avoid problems commonly found in poorly designed tests.
